ECISD Education Foundation Awards Over $9000 in Grants!

The ECISD Education Foundation is thrilled to announce four brand-new classroom grants that are bringing creativity, exploration, and fun to our students and teachers this year!

These grants are made possible thanks to our generous donors and community partners who believe in empowering educators to dream big and think outside the box. Check out the amazing projects coming soon to our campuses:

Primary Campus

All Aboard! E-I-E-I-O!

Students are hopping on board for a hands-on learning adventure! This project brings the farm-to-classroom experience alive, sparking curiosity about agriculture, animals, and life sciences. With this grant, young learners will explore how farms work while connecting lessons to real-world applications.

Kindergarten Houston Children’s Museum Experience

Kindergarten students are headed for discovery with a field trip to the Children’s Museum Houston! This grant supports an unforgettable day of imagination, play, and learning — helping our youngest Buccaneers make big connections through hands-on exploration and interactive exhibits.

Elementary Campus

Mileage/Jogging Club

Ready, set, go! This grant gets students moving with a jogging Club that promotes fitness, goal setting, and healthy habits. Whether walking, jogging, or running, participants will track their miles, celebrate milestones, and discover the joy of staying active together.

Junior High Campus

We’re Making Headlines – EC Junior High

Future journalists are on the rise! This exciting project will help students at ECJH continue to create their own campus news publication, sharpening their writing, communication, and teamwork skills. With this grant, students continue to learn the power of storytelling and the impact of sharing their voices.
